Our school is at the furthest point north in Michigan. 650 miles north of Detroit. This year we have just a few students, but offer a full program for our students.

Copper Harbor is the farthest point in the Upper Peninsula. Fort Wilkins, Brockway Mountain, and gift shops are some places people like to visit. Beauty, history, and wonderful people are some things that make Copper Harbor special.

Venture into our areas fascinating history at Fort Wilkins State Park, the Copper Harbor Lighthouse Museum and other interesting places. Learn about copper mining and tour a real mine at Delaware Mine. Take a tour, charter a boat or dive in the underwater preserve and discover more of what Copper Harbor has to offer. Enjoy hiking, bicycling, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, agate hunting, berry picking and more outdoor activities. Explore a virgin white pine forest - All in Copper Harbor.
